Scripture For Thought
I am so excited we have this great venue to encourage and reach out to one another. The bible is full of verses that do just that! Verses that encourage us and remind us how important our words to one another are. Below are some verses that have encouraged me. I would love to know what verses you find encouraging!
Psalm 27:14 (NKJV) Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD
Colossians 3:16 - NKJV - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Proverbs 25:11 - A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
Acts 15:32 - Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words.
Philippians 4:11-13 - NKJV - Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ[a] who strengthens me.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 - NKJV - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
