9th-11th Grade Students at Camp Barnabas

Submitted By Michele Lee

Ten of our PCCA high school students left yesterday for a week of service and fun at Camp Barnabas just outside of Purdy, MO. Camp Barnabas is a Christian summer camp for handicapped and terminally ill kids. Our students will be serving the campers as "Barnstormers". Their jobs this week will include cleaning cabins, bathrooms, setting tables, serving food and cleaning tables and dishes after meals. The Barnstormers will also get to enjoy some free time each afternoon with a group of the campers and counselors participating in swimming, canoeing, crafts, rifleing, horseback riding, and lots more. Each evening the workers and campers enjoy a themed party. Pray for our high school kids and Mr. Ross as they serve hard and play hard this week, May 31st through June 7th. I'm sure they'll come back blessed from serving Jesus through serving the Barnabas campers!
