Prayer Walk 0 comments

Providence Family,

You are invited to participate in a prayer walk at our new Providence East Campus at 6:30pm on Thursday, July 1st. We will meet on the East side of the building. Some of our goals are to:

Praise the Lord for blessing us with additional, very nice space

Ask for the Lord to bless the church and its staff for allowing us to lease facilities

Ask the Lord to reveal Himself and His will to our students and families

Request that the Lord give wisdom and direction to Lead Teachers and Co-teachers

Request that Lord give wisdom to our Board of Directors and Administrative Staff

Ask for the Lord's continued provision and protection for Providence-Academy

The address is 2555 S. 26th Street in Rogers. One easy access is to take the Pleasant Grove Rd. exit (Exit 81) and proceed East to the S. 26th Street traffic light (Chick-fil-A on your left and Wal-Mart & McDonald's on your right). Take a Left at the light and stay on that road for 1.3 miles to Immanuel Baptist Church on the Right.
We will still meet to pray if it is raining.

9th-11th Grade Students at Camp Barnabas 0 comments

Ten of our PCCA high school students left yesterday for a week of service and fun at Camp Barnabas just outside of Purdy, MO. Camp Barnabas is a Christian summer camp for handicapped and terminally ill kids. Our students will be serving the campers as "Barnstormers". Their jobs this week will include cleaning cabins, bathrooms, setting tables, serving food and cleaning tables and dishes after meals. The Barnstormers will also get to enjoy some free time each afternoon with a group of the campers and counselors participating in swimming, canoeing, crafts, rifleing, horseback riding, and lots more. Each evening the workers and campers enjoy a themed party. Pray for our high school kids and Mr. Ross as they serve hard and play hard this week, May 31st through June 7th. I'm sure they'll come back blessed from serving Jesus through serving the Barnabas campers!
