Have you ever been face to face with someone? I am talking nose to nose. All that you can see is the other person’s eyes. Don’t they look big? Can’t you see the little flecks of color? What about the tiny lashes? Have you realized that when you are in this position, it is impossible to look at yourself? It is difficult to see any of the distractions around you.
The Creator of the universe desires to be face to face with YOU.
His call:
Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. 1 Chronicles 16:11
Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Selah Psalm 24:6
His promises:
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

As we seek His face, we will be drawn closer to Him. As we become closer, we begin to reflect Him. We start to look more like Him. As we are transformed in His image, our hearts change. Our attitudes and actions change. We think less of ourselves and more about Him. We are able to serve as He calls us. We can clearly hear His voice and be His hands and feet.
